Christian Education

Developing strong Christian families is an essential part oand purpose of this church. At First Presbyterian, families find a wide range of opportunities for their children and youth to grow and participate. We have Sunday School for ages from Nursery through 8th Grade. We also have a Junior High Youth Group (meet every Wednesday at 5:30pm) and a Senior High Youth Group (meet every Wednesday at 6:30pm). Co-Directors of Christian Ed: Khristin Heaney and Ann West. Youth Director: Kelly Raynor.

Our mission work is extensive and involves people of all ages and abilites as they meet needs locally, nationally and internationally.

Maureen's Haven

Maureen's Haven is an ecumenical program to provide shelter, food, clean clothing, and fellowship to the homeless in the area, on the second and fourth Saturday nights from November to April.

Worship & Music

The Worship & Music Council oversees and plans the regular and special worship services; assist with setting up for monthly Communion services; plan and make arrangements for Sunday Fellowship Hours and budgets for and maintains the musical instruments of the church and worship supplies.

Presbyterian Women's Association

We have an active Presbyterian Women Circle. You'll see these ladies hosting special dinners, planning and running the rummage sales and let's not forget their annual Christmas Bazaar and Luncheon. The Circle meets on the second Wednesday of the month from September through June at 10:30am. They'd be happy to tell you more about SPW (Southampton Presbyterian Women).

Men's Fellowship Group

Formerly known as "The Men's Breakfast Group" this group now meets for lunch on the first Wednesday of the month. They enjoy a Biblical discussion over a delightful lunch at either a local restaurant or during the summer...lunch at the beach!
